The waitress was very nice and made a few recommendations. The food was incredible. I am gluten free, so I was limited in options but I still had a great experience. We started with the burrata and duck liver patté, both were already outstanding. They came with bread which I couldn't have but it smelled so good. For mains we ordered two pasta dishes, the lamb shoulder and a side of broccoli. I tried a little bit if the foglie d'ulivo pasta. It was outstanding. I wish they had gluten free pasta options or used Italian flour which does not impact me.

Very random location but beautiful restaurant and nice ambiance inside. Found parking around the corner. Focaccia: I've never had focaccia like this before, it was like a massive balloon. Helpfully cut into quadrants. A bit plain on its own, probably why there are so many add-ons listed on the menu. Still good though and great for sharing. I ordered the pappardelle. The pasta was picture perfect and it also tasted great. You can tell the pasta is freshly made. Good amount of protein in there. Perfect portion too. For dessert, we got the pistachio crunch. It's house-made vanilla ice cream with house-made pistachio brittle. Light, creamy, salty, sweet. It's so goood! We were celebrating my birthday so they put a candle in it (but fyi - they don't discount dessert off the bill which was a bummer). Fast service and our waiter was so friendly.

One of the best restaurants I've been to lately. The place is dark, with an open kitchen that operates quietly and with grace. Smoke emitting from the kitchen foreshadowed the flavors to come. The waiter was incredibly helpful with dish selection and quantity. He did not push us to over-order; we ordered the perfect amount of food. The menu selection is large enough for many options for picky eaters or for people looking for different things, but small enough as not to be overwhelming. Each course was perfectly executed, up to the olive oil in the crudo which was Very Top Notch. Most impressive, however, was how they managed to serve us three heavy dishes (two meat pastas and the sweetbreads) without us feeling heavy or the flavors feeling repetitive. This is a pitfall most restaurants fall into and that you usually need to intentionally avoid by NOT ordering so many heavy dishes. Antico avoided this by injecting acidity and edge to the dishes thoughfully. The squab pasta featured punchy olives and the sweetbreads bathed in a reduced marsala. Rich--but acidic. I was incredibly impressed, as were the other guests, some of whom were not big on food and were picky eaters. Dinner with 2 glasses of wine and no dessert was ~$80pp total. Not bad. Antico is certainly a candidate for the rare repeat visit.

We went for a birthday dinner, checking in for our reservation was quick and seamless. Once seated, it did take a little while for our server to get to us. But it was worth the wait because the food was phenomenal. The inside is a small space but spacious, very intimate and enjoyable dinner setting. We didn't order any meats as the portions seemed too large to share for just 2 people so we will have to come back again and try with family! We started with the focaccia bread and broccoli chicory caesar salad. For our entrees we had the pappardelle and the plin dell' alta langa. For dessert we had the honeycomb ice cream. FOCACCIA - olive oil, sea salt 4.6/5 Review - The bread was incredible crispy and fluffy at the same time, it was delicious. We have never had focaccia bread like this, we definitely regret not getting one of the many side dip options with it. BROCCOLI CHICORY CAESAR - broccolini, cabbage, caesar dressing 4.8/5 Review- This was one of the most unique caesar salads we have ever been served. The broccolini instead of lettuce leafs gave it a nice crunchy texture and taste that was fantastic and different. The homemade caesar dressing was also very flavorful and we wished there was a bit more mixed in! PAPPARDELLE - beef cheek, veal tongue ragu bolognese 4.5/5 Review - We enjoyed the freshness of the pasta, it was really good. The beef ragu was very flavorful and balanced and was my boyfriend's favorite pasta of the night. PLIN DELL' ALTA LANGA - sugo di arrosto 5/5 Review - My favorite pasta of the night. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was very flavorful! Would definitely recommend this as a must order dish.

Antico Nuovo truly lived up to the hype. From the moment we entered and our entire visit the staff was kind, friendly, and very attentive. Our server was very personable and eager to answer any questions about the menu or wine list. The wine list is extensive and impressive and wine is served in beautiful Glasvin glassware which makes the experience truly enjoyable. My husband tried the Italian lager and loved it. Now to the food: Pane - do not skip the bread, it is warm, soft, and delicious. We accompanied the bread with the burrata and scallion oil which was savory and delicious and the coppa which was fantastic! Tortelli - unsure how a dish can be so light yet rich but it was the perfect pasta dish. Savory, lemony, a real treat! Lamb Shoulder - cooked perfectly, very tender, really fantastic. Bone Marrow - delicious, a little difficult to get the marrow out of the bone but the potatoes were perfect. Cannoli - Amazing! Highly recommend for a fantastic ambiance, amazing food, and friendly service!

We came for the Valentines prix fixe menu. Great service and tasty food in an intimate setting. There is valet parking but we parked on the street. Just pay attention to signs. Reservations were made via OpenTable. They do call to confirm the day before. The prix fixe menu is a selection of many of their same regular dishes. The meal is served family style and you pick two appetizers with focaccia bread to start, two pastas, one main entree (with extra $$ for ribs and tomahawk steak), a side, and two desserts. We liked the bread to start. The ricotta was a great complement. The crudo was tasty though I ate it with the bread like lox! I liked the pasta, served nice al dente with the bits of meat a nice touch to the more chewy pasta. You can add more Parmesan to top. We got the ribs. They were good, though the fennel did give a saltier aftertaste. We added the bone marrow potato purée and that was nice and fatty! The meal ended with their special honeycomb and pistachio crunch ice cream. We liked the honey flavor though the pistachio crunch did end up a bit salty. A great date night! They didn't have cocktails but a big selection of wines and some beers.
